I’m very happy you are checking my blog.
I teach, play, laugh, make music, read, count, dance, hug and help little children become great citizens in their communities. As you may have already guessed, yes, I am a preschool teacher.
Let me tell you a little about me and how I started my blog. I am passionate about children’s literature and found books one of the best ways to start a conversation with a child. I find magic, power, cuteness, kindness, happiness, knowledge and so many other things in every book I read.
I started reading books to my students online a few months ago. I wanted to be able to reach my former students as well, so I decided to post them on Instagram and Facebook. Later, I was contacted by fellow teachers, parents, children and even by a nonprofit international organization, with requests to read more books online. Then one day I was contacted by this amazing person who encouraged and guided me step by step on how to start my own blog.
I want to share with you thoughts, tips and ideas to make motherhood a little less stressful. I will also give you some strategies I have implemented in the classroom during my time as a preschool teacher.
I am also fully bicultural and bilingual with native written and oral skills in both US and Venezuelan cultures. Culturally aware of idioms and local expressions, different tones and types of language used in everyday speech in English and Spanish.
I am going to share with you some ideas and strategies you can use with children to encourage them to read, learn and discover the joy of books.
